Shout House (#ShoutHousePDX) hosts Mystical Experiments in Portland – An Interactive Workshop. Local Jewish mystic and storyteller, Yitzhak Schlomi, uses story-telling and interactive group meditations aimed at out-of-body travel. Grounded by ancient mystical practices, you will explore Sheol, the gathering place of the spirits of the dead, and attempt to make contact with these spirits. Rav Yitzhak will guide you through this esoteric journey which will startle and give you cause to think differently about Existence.

As a practising Jewish mystic, Rav Yitzhak is fascinated the esoteric workings of the infinite universes. However, he finds the live-cycle events of the average person to be the most rewarding to study. Birth, the transition from childhood to adult, finding love, living in marriage, passing into middle age, growing old, and, finally, dying; these events are inexorably coupled with the Infinite Creation. It is our collective preoccupation with the end of life that we will explore this evening.
In this series of workshops, join Yitzhak for a evening of entertaining ritual, participate in group meditations, and listen stories of esoteric out-of-body travel.
